Part 3 from this ranch work trip. Final chore moving a trailer blind and a group of hogs walked in as I was setting it up. Luckily I had the 7 mag.

    Hey Rob
Don't need the blind. Just bring the truck next time. Good shot and good bbq coming up!

Watched a bit ago - had delicious Chix 'cue to FinEat, but not 'til I subscribed to your Channel.

How much did the instant-head-cheese Sow end up weighing fore and aft of processing?

I didn't have a scale, it would just be a guess 150-175 lbs before.

I might just be getting older. :) I'm good for dragging 250 pounds, when I can't get it off the ground it has to be closer to 150. I did get it in the truck though with a little leverage. I just grab the front legs standing on tailgate pulling up and over. Once they get much over 175 I can't do that anymore, have to field dress before lifting or a winch.

The only thing missing from that video was a big plug of chew in your jaw, spitting into an empty Bud Lite can.

snake hides :) lay down wood and metal sheets that over time will attract them. you can then go out to observe and catch them.

    Ah, observe and CATCH them!?!
Guess if I was property owner where rattlers were present I'd want to diminish their presence............ rapidly.

We have Timber Rattlesnakes, they are pretty docile unless you mess with them, like trying to catch them! :D

Nice video, @rob lay. Have you considered a suppressor for your rifle?

Also, are you setting those snake hides up for @LouB747 to come and take a look in a little while?

    Thanks!

suppressor would sure help with maybe doing followup shots on groups.

I'm a big fan of Lou's channel and that would be cool if he was coming through DFW to check out my place.
