That facility must have been huge overhead. Probably went in over their head. There's a thread in the Rosso forum about the whole debacle.
The facility is absolutely beautiful. Slightly on a hill top, open air floor. Right next to freeway. Beautiful mountain views. Huge. Clean. Modern. Arguably nicer than some Ferrari dealerships. About 15-20 min from my office. The old place was 10 min from my office. It was a nice place to consign your car as the showroom displayed cars very well. Turned out to be a HUGE trap many of us could have easily fallen for.
I'll admit I used to check their inventory all the time and probably would've been a customer at some point myself. I think they started out with good intentions and just got in over their head...black swan event like the pandemic exposed it all. Like Bernie Madoff and 2008.
Hi Guys, I am thinking of trading in my '99 GTB F1 16K Mile in for a '06 F430 GTB Gated 30K. The owner is asking for about 82K for it. I was wondering if I can break even on the trade and if I should do it! All recommendations welcomed!! Thanks in advance....
What's wrong with it? That's mid- mileage f1 territory. Eyes wide open! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
16K mile '99 F1 is a mid-mileage terrioty F1 and worth only 52K? Wow, I am not sure even @johnk... will agree with that.... then again.. I can be wrong...
Saying the 430 is worth 30 more than your 355 isn’t implying your car is worth 52. The meaning is the 430 is under priced. (Based on info so far)
I think you're misunderstanding my comments. I've no comment whatsoever about the value of the f355. I'm talking about the f430. An '06 F430 with "mid-mileage" (say, 20-25k) with F1 transmission would likely sell quickly for $82k. But the gated, 3-pedal version should be at least 50% more than that. I'm wondering specifically what's wrong with it? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
