    I hope that wasn't Bottas' idea of "I'm going to fight to win" because Lewis got around him without much work. I'm wondering Bottas had a quick change of heart.

    Hamilton had fresher tires. Not certain what VB was doing. Clearly Merc did a 2nd stop for Hamilton to shoot for the win. VB was losing time to Max so it wasn’t even an issue of thwarting Bottas v Verstappen.

    The Merc was insanely faster than RB on the mediums. Charles drove like a champ, please have a top car next year. It's boring to watch Bottas, who drives like crap, get podiums.

    Hope so as well. Charles is on a weird island. The car isn't quick enough to tackle the RB/Merc., but Charles is on another level from everyone else to keep it ahead of them.

    I wonder if there will be bad blood forming at Merc after this race. Two races where VB aided Max against LH in fairness to him, he’s certainly tired of people trashing his inability to compete with his teammate, but he’s playing with fire (the Portimao restart is the other incident)

    Max probably wishes he had such concerns. His teammate needs to show up to help him.
