By the time the wreck is cleared up and the debris removed, even if we add a minute or even 2 to allow for an extra preperation lap, it's all for nothing anyways as track will have cooled in this time. The times would not improve.

This Monegasque lobby is so powerful! The red flag rule is applied exactly here as elsewhere.
    Don’t understand the critics.

No time for celebrating the pole for them. Hope they have enough time to fix the car.

Looking foreword to tomorrow! Great to see Ham out of the top 3 for once.

It's surprising that Hamilton is so far back from Bottas on the grid. He didn't seem to have an answer.

Quite glad that pole went to Leclerc and not Verstappen. Yes I know, I'm bias here, nobody needs telling me.

Ferrari has done well so far this weekend, so hoping for a good result. But, this is Monaco, so anything can happen ...

That was the problem. It was the very end of quali and the final laps were going to be wrecked because of the debris. Restart would have been on a cooled circuit...if they were to add time to the session.

Monaco has always been brutal like that.

Leclerc: "If I was doing it on purpose, I would have done it a less bit hard! "For now I'm worried about the rear of the car, I hope it's OK, but it doesn't look OK."

Also i think Charles is a pretty clean racer ,hard to really imagine he would do it .

Max was ahead entering the tunnel compared to Lec’s pole. Then the red.

Interesting that Sainz seems more pissed than any other driver.

S2 and S3 were the best sectors for Leclerc.

Typical within any given team. You always want to beat your teammate. But it hurts especially when you know you had a legit chance at pole.

I'm unimpressed with Sky coverage. They're covering the Brits, rather than the racing.

I really don't need to hear that much about Aston until they get their act together.

Ferrari was blazingly fast on the slow corners --- if they had their tires warmed enough.
Charles was improving every lap. But Q3 didn't have enough time for many laps.

Charles may have hit the barriers hard. But a lot of drivers were tagging barriers in Monaco.
    Ham hit them twice, today.

Ferrari will have the car fixed for tomorrow's race IF the crew have to break curfew regs at night to fix Leclercs car.

    The problem is the gearbox.
