I have a dilemma right now: I have order for a Maserati mc20 that I am supposed to receive in November this year. It is also a vehicle with a V6 engine compared to the Maserati Ferrari and comes with an advanced carbon chassis. I'm debating whether to finally buy the Maserati or wait for the new Ferrari with the v6 engine

Completely different price points but considering a Maserati over a ferrari has never been a dilemma for me.

The car should be revealed soon enough, so you’ll have the chance to learn about the specs and see what it looks like..that should inform your decision making (if the MC20 isn’t arriving soon that it)

The price difference is not that big, and in car tests coming out in recent days the Maserati gets very good reviews. I have a 458 that I will never sell. I'm looking for a car near the 458 and the Maserati mc 20 is Suitable for me because of the chassis and that it's a different car from the 458. Now the question is whether the new Ferrari will be a better vehicle than the Maserati

I was talking about regular or recreational driving, not tracking or long journey. When you go to the track or start a long trip, of course you would fill up. If you want to go for a quick lap though, you will go out on the track with an empty tank! Also, for a spirited mountain/canyon drive, there is no reason to carry the extra weight. My point was different though: Since every car has a different fuel tank capacity, you cannot make a valid comparison between cars with a full tank.

I don’t kn or that we know the price of the LB. I think MC is about 250k coreect? I think LB will have a 100k premium.

From what I understand from my dealer the new Ferrari with the v6 engine is supposed to be cheaper than the f8

Spoke to one of the sales guys at my dealer and he said to expect a similar price increase on the LB as they did with the F8 vs the 488. I’m considering the LB Spider and he said it would be a little over a year and a half from now before I would receive it. Sounds early to me. So many rumors you don’t know what to believe.

If it is cheaper, that would be great. Let’s see how it plays out. Very interested in seeing this car.

Not sure the difference in stiffness is actually that big if the non-carbon car is not a spider though.

Only if Ferrari are their own enemies. LB is a replacement for F8. Making it cheaper, Ferrari would hint that it got worse, why do whey need it? LB will be positioned as a car that is better than F8 in everything. and it will be more expensive.

Rumor I got from a dealer was that it's not a replacement, but too many rumors right now hopefully we find out next month!

Good reviews for first homemade fast Maserati. But Ferrari mid-engine supercar it’s absolutely different animal. Remember 458!
Blast, revolution, new era and new standard. LB will be much faster and better then MC20.
Even near f8, MC20 looks too simple in design, interior, technology and specs.
And LB versus f8 should be what 458 was versus 430.

My experience with coupe-coupe Mc vs F, absolutely. Even more pronounced (ie night and day) in Spyder format.
Moving to Audi/Lambo, the platform is actually very rigid also even in Spyder, but not on the level of Mc.

    It’s a mistake, 99,9%.
Discussed many times in this tread.
If so, Ferrari will have 3 mid engine models, LB, F8, SF, and 3 entry models Porto, Roma and LB. Not too much? )
And if so, we have to wait F8 successor in next 1-2 years. Not too much new models?

I think the V6 hybride will be more expensive and they will place it between the F8 and SF90 with a starting price of around 300k and 750-800 hp. I don’t think this will be the direct replacement of the F8.

Ferrari is always smart, all the collector include myself jump on the new Ferrari (V6 hybride) and then next year they will show a F8 Pista as last V8 without hybride [emoji28] And when that car will be delivered they will show the replacement of the F8, a “light weight” V6 mid engine car without hybride technology.

This is just my idea of what Ferrari is going to do [emoji2]

Well, to be fair, there has been somewhat of a convergent design with the Corvettes and the front engined Ferraris, even the Aston Martins to an extent. Just look at the C6 Corvette and the 550/575M. Also the C7 and F12. And then look at the side by side of the C7 Z06 vs the F12 TdF. Especially in yellow.

MC 20 is too heavy, but it is an excellent car.
F 171 will be even heavier, even if Ferrari will officially announce that it weighs the same as the MC 20, which is of course not true.
The question is, what do you expect from a mid engine sports car other than the hp that you won't be using?

What makes you think that the F8 will be continued? There is apparently no info that is the case, only that the F8 is just a stand in until the V6 LB is ready. There is a reason why the F8 is called the “Tributo”. Because it’s a tribute to the last of the V8 entry level mid engine cars (non hybrid).

Convergence is not the same as Ferrari copies Chevy. Cars in the 50’s had similarities. Same in every decade. People just like to say silly things. ;)

It’s also why I never drive with a full bladder and I never fill my water glasses more than half full. It’s just too much dead weight [emoji12]

I gotta say, this comment makes even less sense than your original one. If it’s just recreational driving then who cares about a little extra weight from gas? You’re never going to notice on recreational driving. Well, unless you’re driving a 15 hp lawnmower I suppose

At a nice Cars N Jets event today.
Finally got to see the SF90 up close. In a sea of exotics, it seemed lost and passed over. Just an observation and listening to comments from enthusiasts.
Some were talking about LB and hoping the design will be more exotic and cohesive.
    Some good STO conversations also.
