Can anyone tell me why this F40 has been resprayed or repainted and with yellow on the rear spoiler wing?
It is Chassis Number 87895 and sold for US$1,540,000 at RM-Sotheby's in August 2017. Pic attached showing YELLOW rear wing "F40". Odd.... ? Explanation anyone? Perhaps entire car was repainted? Image Unavailable, Please Login

i see that you have been a hugely prolific poster over the last 15 years....so you may have missed the model specific forums where you might have better luck getting your questions answered. :)

s/n 82727 also has this F40 logo on the rear wing painted yellow, but I've seen it originally without it, so definitely not factory.

why do you believe its been resprayed? one could easily paint the F40 logo yellow without repainting the whole car.
