Looks so much better than the coupe.

 

You can see in the original design idea drawings for the coupe a dramatic look especially from the rear view. However for Mr. Manzoni this somehow was not translated well into the final design for the coupe. The result appears awkward from the rear and has nothing to do with the rest of the design like tail lights or the side profile of the car. The convertible somehow address this challenging part of the coupe design and allows for a much more visually pleasing final result.
Ferrari has built several of these SF90 convertibles but all in this same paint color so far.

 

Does any know for sure if ordering SF90 spider with Assetto Fiorano package, can one order the full carbon fiber door panels (likely they would be in satin finish). Salesman says can get them only for coupe, but they show up on option price list for the spider. Doesn't make sense to me that can get on the regular spider, but not with Assetto Fiorano package. Also, what about the area above the carbon fiber rear shelf? Saw You Tube of the launch gold spider (regular version, not Assetto Fiorano) that had that in satin carbon fiber, with the rear shelf below it in gloss carbon fiber. Salesman also says can't order that, and I don't see it on the option price list. Thanks for your help.

I was told the same, I switched my order from coupe to Spider, my coupe was specked with AF + all carbon options, when I went through the order with Atelier I’ve noticed that the door cards were a hybrid of leather and carbon (mostly leather) I wasn’t happy about that but I was told the reason for that is that the carbon door cards weren’t tested for the Spider ‍♂️‍♂️
I was told that the rear fire tunnel parcel shelf is unchanged as in it will be carbon fibre when AF package is selected.

 

That’s a strange one about the door panels… you might want to check about the rear parcel shelf in all Carbon. I’ve ordered AF Coupe and I’m led to believe it’s not all in carbon fiber there, but just a middle thin section in Carbon Fibre and rest in Leather as standard on AF. There is a Carbon Fibre Option to have it all in Carbon Fibre, but its not coming all Carbon because you select AF option. I’m based in Europe, might be different with other country specs…

 

You are correct, the additional carbon on the rear parcel shelf is an option which I selected, part of it comes with the AF but top part from memory doesn't, you'd have to select it separately.

If you don't mind me asking is that your spec? I suggested Viola Hong Kong to someone as a great spider color choice! Back in post #301 is a picture in this thread. Very exotic looking paint color...
