I wouldn’t buy a car from a company called “Truegreen” no matter how good (or, more likely, schitt) it was.

I wish I still had mine, looked almost exactly the same, except mine was metallic "Z" green. They are fantastic cars to drive, especially with a trio of webers!! I'd stick my neck out and say it was more fun than the 360
Some of this shoit started with 'celebrities' flaunting their crap ie Jamie Oliver and his Kombi...now look at 'em and bloody Mini Mokes @ $35K. Iv'e had one of each and wouldn't pay anymore than 10% of the ask!
Yeah but its the same right across the board, any car pre 80's is crazy money!! I'd have a Z over an XU1 any day as a direct comparison, or for that matter any Aussie muscle car!! I wouldn't be paying for either though at those prices!!
XU1s were ****boxes !! My cousin had one and the 202 engine was rubbish (I remember helping him rebuild the thing and the cylinders were so big for the block they had to offset them .... well thought out you cheap bastards at GM) Wasn't in the same league as an E49 (which itself had rubbish brakes) Aussie or Yank muscle cars are just crudely made rubbish for the bogan masses ****waves to WRXMIKE******
Nothing wrong with offset pistons, they are used in many successful high performance engines, Ford BDG for example.
The Aussie stuff you can sort of understand, particularly now there's no industry but the other stuff is nuts. Then again anyone can put whatever ridiculous price they want they can only come down to the highest bidder...$2.3 mill for a 246??
Consider when I bought an 'original' registered 260Z 2 seater from one of my customers with a smokey engine some minor rust and ordinary but not stuffed interior for $1000 in '01,I got it roadied for about a $700,it needed a screen and not a lot else. I sold it to an acquaintance in Townsville for $2K.....whoops!
