    Hey guys,
After fitting hi flow cats to my friends car we have the CEL. Looking to purchase a set extenders. I see the 90% type online, is there a straight type available. TIA

Is there a reason why you want the straight type? Sometimes the straight ones have clearance issues. The sensor wiring rubs against the car frame.

The big Daddy ones Bob linked to worked great for me.

I have OEM headers, Fabspeed bypass pipes, and Nouvalari Sport muffler.

Big Daddies straight extensions did not work for me. Then, I ordered the 90' extenders. and they did not work. Next, I stacked them, and that did not work. Finally, I stuffed the angled units with stainless steel wool: that worked for about 100 miles, and then CEL came back. I have only heard of a few success stories, and most report that the CEL will (eventually) come back.

    Has anyone tried these:

It "seems" like they would actually solve the problem.......for good......

So let me get this straight, you remove the ability of the engine management system to perform its job based on sending "simulated" feedback data which has nothing to do with the actual real live engine performance? All in pursuit of keeping the CEL away? I don't have a better answer, but I dunno seems not the greatest approach. Perhaps a tune that works like an ideal mapping would be better? Regardless, I've come to peace with just having cats on the car.

With CAT delete, there is no valuable information sent from the downstream O2 sensors to engine management, so it is irrelevant and inconsequential. I have removed my CEL, but regularly do a check with OBD scanner. If I knew I could add a simulator that would keep the CEL off, I would spring for it.
