Moretti's question prompted me to Hoogle, it seems there have been 3 deaths connected with the AZ vaccine this year. According to Worldometer 1 death from CCPflu. I'm amused that (1) there is no effort to tabulate or centrally report on vaccine issues, vs copious data for the virus and (2) the media reporting of vaccine deaths emphasises the underlying conditions of the deceased, vs very few mentions of comorbidities in CCPflu deaths.

Its Hobson's choice - blood clot risk due to the AZ spike protein approach vs. the unknown long term risks of mRNA (AFAIK no mRNA vaccine has previously passed the normal trial process). I think the mRNA (Pfizer) is the lesser risk, so Anastasia isn't completely stupid. Either way, there of plenty of things more likely to kill you.
Yeah I totally agree Ian…I went Pfizer…I think everyone should have a choice of what goes into them…If they had a choice there would be a lot more people getting vaccinated…Jules is 51 and she doesn’t want the AZ like many…It’s banned here in HKG…So why can’t she just pay for her choice?…
I had Pfizer even though I am 55. I went that way because looking at the emerging data, seems as though it will be more effective against variants than AZ. I think the blood clot issue with AZ has been sensationalised by the mainstream press which is unfortunate and should not put people off if that is their only choice currently. To put things in perspective, I give patients contrast dye injections daily which have a much higher risk of anaphylaxis and death.
