F8 or STO?

Guys, have any of you heard of STO spots selling for over MSRP? Have you heard any rumblings about STOs selling over MSRP + market adjustment premiums...?
I haven't.

(If that's the case, it's telling)

Posted a few STO listings below from the EU which are selling for way over.

In the US the first STO's arriving are market intro cars which dealers are not allowed to sell for at least 60 days but I believe almost all the market intro cars are already pre-sold so there's no STO dealers will receive for inventory they can markup.

However if the prices shown are base" cars with no options then 100% agree - good % over

 

The net and gross are shown in the listings, the cheapest listed pre-tax is 283.412 € which is around 30k over list with delivery next year. Another one with a free spec is listed for 360.504 € pre-tax and probably with delivery this year.

And I can't recall any modern Lambo model which was sold with a massive dealer markup, it's not a brand that plays the allocation game like Porsche and Ferrari however Lambo is experince strong resale values and doing much better than McLarens and even some Ferrari models.

Some SVJ's right now are selling for almost $50k over list, Perfomante's are now selling for MSRP + options and Urus is still holding steady and sold out in some markets even with production nearing 10,000.

 

My local dealer told me yesterday that the total North American market for STO's was around 500 and 1500 or so worldwide. Can anyone confirm this number?

 

Pretty much aligns with what I was told, give or take a few.

 

I was told back in Oct STO production would be similar to the SVJ production (coupe + roadster + 63's) so 1500 STO's worldwide is a credible number. The Perf production was around 2000.

STO will be another keeper. I got to drive the Super Trofeo this week at Sebring which it was modeled from and it is a beast. Much different from my Challenge car.

wow that last clip gives me goose bumps, so happy they made a last raw production car with this glorious engine.

I've recently added a Superleggera with an IPE titanium exhaust which makes all new boring turbo cars to just sound meh, so can just imagine the STO is in another ballgame when it comes to the feeling it will give back to you as a driver - especially compared to all new turbo cars which primarily want's to compete with higher and higher hp.

Ive owned 2 huracans and although I think the NA V10 is awesome, I would go with the F8.

I prefer its size and styling even though I will admit that the STO styling is mean asf vs an EVO etc. I've just personally had enough seat time in the huracans to get my fill and then some.

 

that's why it should be both. a perfect diametrically opposed car experience...if one can only choose one....check your priority

 

Doesnt show her getting in the car So no washing this beast as its allergic to water in the engine bay ? Never seen that before.

 

does not make sense, i think she meant no drive in auto car wash where you cannot control the water flow and pressure. Otherwise the car cant be driven in the rain..lol The power wash machine i have has a shower setting and i would not use high pressure on this car or any car. I would remove the engine cover and wash it separately to minimize water spots on the engine surfaces

Called Lambo CS. he told me demo and launch STO might be in the US in 2-3 weeks. But where it lands first, no clue. But then again, he could just be blowing me off. But at least they returned my call. Made it a point not be anal in VIN number, status of production, ship transpo, customs, LAmbo prp chec.. vehicle transpo like my first Lambo. Ill wait for the dealer to be the one to call me.. you can pick up your car.

 

You shouldn't spray water directly into the engine bay. No car washes and who would do that with any of these cars?
