maybe the worst wrong preview ever seen! The real car should be something between an SF90 and a Dino 246 GT, with Lambo LP670 exhaust tip. 3.0 V6, TT, 120 degree, 650 HP + 150 hp electric, RWD.

I still bet on Dino 306 GT as the name (who knows what it will be)

    ciao

Cult followings are rarely created based on marketing alone, especially cult followings that go on for decades. Seems like you and I look at these businesses in a fundamentally different light.

    Thanks for the insight Albert-LP

It’s simply a MC20 with a Monza front end so obviously no where near a professional rendering (though much better than I could muster up).

800hp-ish RWD and looks somewhere between a Dino 246GT and a SF90 sounds like a great recipe.

Perhaps isot could indulge us with one more of his brilliant renders before the final reveal.

I don't have much info about this car due to covid (no or less people moving means less rumors): I only saw one year and half ago a view of the engine bay. The best rumor I have is a tale that is already three years old: three years ago they told me that this 3.0 V6 TT the very first time it was placed on the test bench at full gas, developed more power than the 488 Pista 3.9 liters V8. Then it was bit detuned, but maybe in a later VS edition... ;)

The steering wheel at the end appears to be from the last gen Ferrari models (without touch sensitive buttons)

On a track the 765 was faster than a Challenge car in certain areas with minimal push and lesser tires. There is no chance a Pista will keep up. Both are street cars though and will run into similar problems such as brake fade.

I am hoping for a mix of Dino and 250 LM with a small splash of something new. However I don't want to see any SF-90.

I am more surprised with the lack of info and leaks, covid or not we knew and had seen alot more about the Competizione at this point.

Can you imagine if they skipped the electric motor and also optioned a manual?

Let me say that the Competizione is only a restyling of an existing model with low production numbers: this "Dino" is all new from zero and for Ferrari is much more important (financially) than the Competizione, so they kept the most privacy possible.

Already stated Pista will be faster around track. I’m talking straight line on the streets where I drive the cars. Both are fast no doubt. 720- feels faster.

Can you lot start a new thread to discuss the merits of carbon vs aluminium. This one is dedicated to the upcoming V6 model.

Advancing claims on this forum that Mclaren is superior on any level of technology or performance , will be mostly greeted with attacks and /or personal insults. This speaks volumes since attacks result from deemed threats to long held beliefs and vested emotional and financial commitments.

For sure the 765 is the superior driving machine....and in a number of ways, not just the CF tub either. But as some need to romanticize their older F cars are on par then kudos to them for waving the Ferrari flag.... even though some of their posts made me wonder whether to laugh or cry. But I will say some are peddling some very bad info and beliefs as per usual, again based upon the usual lack of first hand experience and doing the usual trick of drawing upon whatever data they can google search to support what is essentially a lost cause. I guess this has to be expected on a Ferrari forum though so no big deal.
