Hi there, Can somebody help me find a source for the decals/stickers on Speedline 16" 308 wheels? Or can they be reproduced somehow? I would like to refinish mine, but don't want to lose the original script (not to be confused with the Cromodora "raised letters"....) I saw a 308 GT4 recently (German reg.) that had custom-made stickers on the rims, see my pics. These have a small mistake though, (the " in 8j" ). Does anybody know how to have stickers/decals made from perhaps a good quality digital pic? Yes, I'd like a set of these too. But the font looks different on the repos as well as the wrong " marks.
I think you may find what you're looking for here: (Scroll down to "Wheel Decal Sets") http://www.italiancarparts.com/labels_plates/ferrari_labels_plates.htm Good luck!
Thanks, I've known that site for years. Unfortunately, these are decals for 14" wheels, and not for 16" Speedlines.
I'm restoring my original late 1970's 16" Speedline wheels and like the OP from 13 years ago today, I can't find a source for original style wheel decals. I've added a picture here of my spare wheel matching Mick's. Does anybody know of a source for these? I checked the usual sources and may end up making custom stencils. Apologies (and thanks) in advance for an old thread resurrection. v/r Paul Image Unavailable, Please Login
Put them on a wheel just for reference. If you like these, and if some more people are interested, i can ask my contact who made these some time ago. I think i paid 20 euro per piece ( so 80 for a set of 4) but don't hold me on that. This was indeed to long ago to accurately remember. I need to contact her again to verify, i can if more people are interested. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They aren’t cheap. I compared some of their Fiat parts with the leading retailer of Fiat parts and the premium pricing is huge.
Steven- Thank you, let me know if others are interested... Did you also have the "SPEEDLINE" portion produced? As an alternative, I will look into a stencil based approach. Paul
Sorry, I don't understand embossing style? The later Cromadora and Campy wheels had the raised (embossed?) wheel sizes along with "Ferrari" cast into the wheel. I believe a stencil to spray the black lettering would be closest to OEM, but a decal or "sticker" may be acceptable. Thanks...looking for recommendations or options.
Yes, embossing meaning the non-sticker version. Whether it be spray on, screen print, or vinyl lettering.
