I think it felt lighter than it was - they’re around 1450kg from memory. It was very chuckable, with great steering feel even though AWD and had power steering. The gearbox was a delight to use: snick-snick-snick, and I loved the acceleration from 3000rpm. It was a jet. I’d have another in a heart beat.

I did a Tassie trip in it with the Fchat/AE crew in 2008 - when I missed the boat (literally) due to work. Caught the ferry Sat night, then did Devenport - Hobart in about 30 mins to meet everyone before they left the hotel in the morning for day 2 drive. It was amazing.

 

I'm still talking about photos.

 

Word on the street is that such a photo exists.
