Yes in this instance it's hard to argue against and expect to come out on top.

There is so much room for improvement it's actually difficult to say where best to start from really. I'm truly shocked how a company such as Ferrari - who is renown for beautiful designs - ever allowed themselves to get into such a diabolical position to begin with.

    And no dual exhaust pipes.

About the rest, I don't see anything in the MC20's design (a fine one, BTW) that reminds me of the SF90, Dino or 250LM.

The Maserati is most probably a rebadged (literally) Alfa. This is the car that was supposed to be an Alfa and even has the V6 from the Alfa Q cars (90 deg, based on Ferrari V8) but with a novel head design.

Also, while Alfa and Maserati are linked under Stellantis now, Ferrari is not.

This is a bit like the rumours that the California was a Maserati even though the Cali was an aluminum chassis car and the Maserati 2-seat convertible that was seen only in prototype form was just a shortened and chopped version of the steel-bodied coupe.

They’re both mid-engine cars so will have similar profiles. That the LB does not have scissor doors was pretty obvious from looking at the door/fender split lines but confirmed above by pic posed by @512tr1992 . And although the LB’s A-pillar has been curiously camouflaged, the only thing they might have in common is the location and general look of the rear fender scoops, but this is pretty much to be expected.

mc20 is a beautiful car, not denying.
It has a carbon tube, lb (as presumed not)
mirrors are very different, mc has like 488/f8 similar shape
    lb similar to sf90,
at the back quite different, considering they are both mid engine lay-out

    LB is a baby SF90.
    But (hopefully) much better looking.

A "Baby" better looking SF90 with +750hp and a Brand New Top Tech V6, and a Price about €300K is a go for me!

Or at least very different than recent Ferraris.

I agree and I like it. The SF90 would benefit from a better tail-light design.

To my eyes, that is a contrived design that is lacking harmony , lines that are clumsily complicated, bloated apearance, opposite of sleek and sexy. Die hard Ferrari fans will not be disuaded from buying but it certainly would not compel anyone else to purchase it based on appearance.

    ???

You’re critiquing a fully camo’d car? Unless you have X-ray vision not sure what you are basing your criticism on.

Yeah, that's an even better picture of the central exhaust.

As for the front, I think they are concealing what will be a low center and high fenders. If somehow they incorporate three little vents on either side as seen on the 246, I'll be thrilled!

Still think the back is going to have a classic flying buttress look.

I am not basing it on the camouflaged car. That would be absurd. My comments were predicated on the red rendering comparing it to the MC-20.

That rendering is so far off—and can be confirmed as so just from looking at what is exposed on the mules—as not to even merit a mention yet you decide to comment about how it would only sell to a Ferrari lover!? Did you believe it will look like this?

That would be a tough pill to swallow - But If that brings a carbon tub along with it then maybe its worthwhile ??:)

Awaiting unveiling before passing judgement. Initially I thought the SF90 was a bit odd looking, especially didn’t care for the tail lights. Finally saw one and sat in it at my dealership yesterday, I thought it looked great- has serious presence in my eye.

Probably the only plus. Hopefully it’s not even a remote possibility.
