My first Ferrari was a 430 spyder painted in the rare rubino micalizatto. So far Ferrari is telling us we are the first customer to order painted rosso venaccia ... a $14,000 option. I would have been shocked if this were our first Ferrari. interior will be sabbia stitching, giallo for the horse stitching, chocolate on the seats and lower, a lighter brown on the upper interior, and yellow calipers. We hope to take delivery in Aug/Sept. The paint and other orders has really pushed our car to the back of the queue. We also didn't get shields as I really think this is the one Ferrari, especially with this color, that really looks even better without them. our dealer has so far received their 2 demo cars but no customer cars. curious who and in what color has received theirs.

    Hi Eric!
Welcome to F-chat. Sounds like a really masterful spec.
Early in the process, I remember Miller Motorcars mailed out some sample specs, and one was vinaccia. I think the interior they chose was tortora. At any rate, vinaccia is a great color. Can you share some of your configurator pictures? Congratulations on your incoming Roma...T

Edit - there is a thread w/ a lot of cool Roma info, pics, specs, etc. here.

I spent $14000 on the paint. Why would I distract from the color with shields? I skipped them on my ruby metallic 430.

I wish more folks had your approach
To me the shields interrupt the lines of these cars

Shields are a relatively new phenomenon on the cars ... at several 1000 dollars, they are just another spot to spend money.

It is a personal choice. I would never own an F-Car without the shields. I wear that racing heritage proudly. It is one of the unique things that make a Ferrari a Ferrari.

This color is perfect for the Roma. What color did you do for the interior?
