This is gonna be 350k starting minimum. Keep your F8s. This will be faster but heavier.

So prices approaching Speciale and Pista prices? If that is the case then, for me, the choice would be clear.

With Speciale and Pista- Atleast you have an idea of what kind of depreciation to expect/. LB is a bit of an unknown.

    I likewise couldn’t help myself. I was convinced I could spec a Tributo for <$320. I’m up to $340.

Still surprised there are no least at this point. Wondering if COVID protocols have anything to do with it.

I would buy a properly spec’d Trib at $340k all day. It’s a razor and, dare I say, a daily (unsafe parking, extreme weather and decrepit roads aside).

Also, including ppf, nano, taxes, etc, we spent more than that on our 488’s.

If the LB ends up at 400k that leaves a huge gap to Roma which is in the 250-280k range

that would be amazing! Assume it's AWD otherwise no point, if the case then i see little real world performance difference to SF90, but SF90 is supposed to be a 2 year production run only, so assume we are starting getting towards the end of it (at least for the coupe)...so might just about work out for new car sales, but hit second hand values...but Ferrari has no choice the game is moving so fast with hybrid / electric power trains adding significant performance at much lower costs...don't think they can raise prices too much, maybe 10-15% max....now only the design needs to match and Ferrari will make a statement in the market with this car...less than 18 hours to go

I imagine SF90 demand will take a hit if the LB looks better (or be less polarizing), has 830 hp, sounds better, is lighter (similar power-to-weight, more fun to drive etc) and is $150k cheaper.

The SF90 may be the top of the food chain in Ferrari land, but how special would owners feel if the new little brother is an all round more desirable package - especially its design? We may end up seeing the SF90 undergo a facelift, power uplift or outright replacement sooner than expected.

1800kg "on the road" is the actual weight of the sf90 stradale, so the LB with 2 cilynder less and only one electric engine will weigth way less (still a heavy car, anyway)

way too much considering the lower weight. It would be a better weight-to-power ratio than the sf90 stradale...

A huge gap momentarily - until the Purosangue appears in Q1 next year. It would ould certainly start above the Roma and who knows how high depending on power rains on offer.

Many motoring CEOs have spoken about the death of the traditional 5yr product cycle. My dealer told me SF90 has a 2 year production run.

Practically LB will probably be better - will have proper luggage space for starters without front electric motor. SF90 is positioned higher with more extreme performance and the difference that having front motors brings. No torque vectoring on LB front wheels.

Ferrari must have missed that memo as the current f8 platform is now 12 years old, as the platform started life as the 458.
