Beautiful car - really compact. love the way the roof and windscreen intersect - reminds my of of of the SP cars. Is it just me or does this car look like it was designed to be a targa at some point?

How much is this 296? $350k? So MC20 get CF tub + better tech in the engine and 6 figures extra to spend on a second car? MC20 all the way...

Yes the shape of the side window and the lid/turret is the area in question but the rest is a step in the right direction. It certainly won't win any beauty pageant, especially with that ridiculous yellow make up which completely spoils the car. Whoever did that was probably behind the fashion show.

I don’t like the double kink on the Bora/Merak side windows and don’t like it here either. Single link would have been better but then it would look too much like the SF90.

SF90 side windows, scoops and roof are more original and better designed than this.

Uptick in price mentioned so far is EUR 269 vs EUR 229 for the F8 so that could take the US equivalent price to around USD 325 000

I think it's interesting that the Assetto Fiorano livery is specifically inspired by the 250 LM. Presumably the Maranello Concessionaires livery. I want to see one in red with Cambridge blue livery now.

I apologize, but did I miss the overall length of the 296? Did they give a length?

So what's next? What is the next model and when? Any news about the 812 replacement?

I love this new car! I can't wait to see it in person, I know it will look better than in the pictures.

This car even looks "small" so I am really anxious to see it.

This sums up my initial impression of the design - not cohesive, to my untrained, unprofessional eye. I find the dead-straight line leading into the side air intake jarring together with the pronounced curve aft of the intake, and the rounded intake itself.

It strikes me as a car of two halves. The first 'half' of the car is a sharp tailored Armani suit (angular), and then the rear goes all Versace on us (curvy and flamboyant) - sorry, had to reference fashion given Ferrari's new 'line'!

When I cover the section after the line with my hand, I imagine a curvier front. Hand over the rear 3/4, I imagine more hard edges and fewer curves.

If they’re still sticking to their "15 new models between 2019 and 2022" plan, there are still five models left (including the Purosangue).

Yeah but a Bugatti veyron is also faster 0-60 but not on a track. That’s what matters!

It's exactly the same design you point out on the post above yours with the 250 LM.
