I wonder if their strategy will be the following, in order of ascending power/performance by category

    Classic Ferrarista
    MID-ENGINE SUPERCAR: V8 Turbo - F8 Tributo/Spider
    FRONT MID-SHIP GT: V12 - 812 SF/GTS

    Modern Ferrarista
    ENTRY: V8 Turbo + Lux - Portofino M & Roma
XUV: V8 Turbo Hybrid + Tech - Purosangue
    MID-ENGINE HYBRID LUX SUPERCAR: V6 Turbo Hybrid + Tech - 296 GTB/Spider
MID ENGINE HYBRID LUX HYPERCAR: V8 Turbo Hybrid + Tech - SF90 Stradale/Spider

FUM Ferrarista - aka F.U.Money Ferrarista - A blend of Classic and Modern owners
MID-ENGINE LIMITED SUPERCAR: V8 Turbo - F8 VS or Future VS
MID-ENGINE HYBRID LIMITED SUPERCAR: V6 Turbo Hybrid - 296 VS
MID-ENGINE HYBRID LIMITED HYPERCAR: V8 Turbo Hybrid - SF90 VS
    FRONT MID-SHIP LIMITED GT: V12 - 812 Competizione
    HYPERSEX - LaFerrari Successor

That's an 12 car lineup that they can continually rotate through, not even including variants.

As much as I love a good meme, this feels a bit like a stretch.

Post Release press conference. Talks about pricing, marketing, e.t.c. For price 269K euros (including tax), which translates to 320K USD.

320K USD is reasonable. With the options most will want you're probably at 350K

Still some "Dino denial" going on at Ferrari....

Why? I mean, there's a strong possibility that in the next decade the only choice will be electric.

What's important is what happens when you put your right foot down

+1 and judging from the SF90 the driving experience will be sublime. Every car in this segment will ultimately be hybridised or electric so not sure exactly who the former poster thinks Ferrari will lose buyers to?

Been seeing lot of comparisons to all sort of cars like 765lt etc. but the fact is this is a direct rival to the McLaren Artura.
Finally, this is true side by side comparison. Engine type, hybrid etc. and both launched within 3 months of the other.
The Artura has right royally been handed it a$$ on almost every level.

There always have been and there always will be so-called competitors to Ferrari. In the end, only Ferrari is Ferrari.

Isn’t it notably more expensive than the Artura ($225k base price)?

How so? First of all this will cost 100k usd more than the Artura at least. Both v6 hybrid, sure but anyone can make such a comparison between two objects that were introduced months within each other regardless of price point and claim they are direct competitors I.e. intended for same target customer. Unless you’re assuming people that buy an Artura are price inelastic so would gladly pay 100k more for this one? Help me understand…thanks.

My 2 cents is that they did not want to cannibalize the 720S that still has life left in its lifecycle.

And most clients will not care about the performance, they will see one car with 1,000 hp vs 850/870. Remember most of Ferrari and McLaren customers do not go on forums.

Since when is price a real issue on cars like these. if you don't pay it someone else will. Well thats the case with Ferrari anyway.

I mean the f8 and pista are already pretty close to 720s and 720s will be replaced soonish right…
So I think McLaren will get the upper hand as soon as they replace 720s

I hear the replacement of the 720S will go hybrid so it will become an SF90 competitor in power and pricing.

Why would you compare a 2017 na design with a 2021 hybrid design? o_O
