    Is Ocon the benchmark?

If you don't have the balls to spell it, maybe you shouldn't suggest it...

Point is Alonso came back and is beating his team mate. Absolutely no excuse for Schumacher to get beat 3 years by Rosberg, maybe just maybe 1 year, but 3 years , no.

Considering the British media is Pro Hamilton, that's a pretty damning article on how slippery Hamilton was.

However, Hamilton didn't need to be slippery, as his mentor Uncle Ron was always in his corner ;)

McLaren was Team Hamilton from the start.

    So what ?

Rosberg learned a great deal from Schumacher as team mate and MSC played a significant role in helping to develop the future hybrid Mercedes. I would say everyone benefitted and MSC had a bit of fun sticking it on Monaco Pole at 43.

Let's see what Hamilton can do at 43 :D

Correct, its completely normal for a team principle to noticed the stronger driver and make him # 1. It's been this way since the beginning of F1.

Yeah Schumi helped the team, he is good at developement. I was just pointing out that Rosberg spanked him.

Button kept Hamilton very honest despite being in "Hamilton's Lair" as Jackie Stewart put it.

The chips were always stacked in Hamilton's favour by his Uncle Ron.

Is it also correct to be slippery and disobey team instructions, thereby sabotaging your team mate ?

Nobody cares about Schumacher post retirement. Age catches up with even the greatest talent.
Let's see if Hamilton can still stick a car on Pole when he's 43

Maybe with Dennis noticing his strenght and wanting to make him #1 , Hamilton thought he could get away with things? I don't know he was only a rookie, like all rookies, he thought like a rookie as well

    Now you're just speculating.

Let's stick with the actuality as reported by the BBC.

Hamilton immediatly showed more potential than Alonso who had years of experience behind him.

Straighaway Lewis was competitive and a match for the sulky Spaniard, Ron Dennis couldn't fail to notice that.

Alonso who came onboard with 2 WDCs to his name felt entitled and it was a rude shock for him not to receive the preferential treatment he expected.

Noooooooooo buddy! Noooooooo, don't try to sweep it under a rug, that won't work here! Hill, Mansell and others have won races in their 40s. Schumacher should have beat Rosberg at LEAST 2 years

Gosh I wish the mods could close my thread now.
It is sad and pathetic to see grown men argue like middle schoolers AND acting with such bad faith on both sides…
