Hat trick for Verstappen, with another flag-to-flag victory; you can't get better than that !!

First podium for Norris, the star of the moment, and McLaren for a long time.

The McLaren revival under Zak Brown and Seidl seems to work.

Still can't undersand why Riccirdo is so far behind in pure performance, with the same car.

He's been my surprise of the season...he's just settled in so well. Seems he left Mclaren just in time though, Norris really kicked it up a gear this season. Wonderful future of F1 ahead!

I missed the race, seems like Redbull is unstoppable! Good for Lando. Hopefully Hamilton can add to his win count and go for 100

Norris gets another 2 penalty points on his licence now on 10pts and only 2 points away from a race ban...

Stewards decision: "At the entry of turn 4, PER and NOR were side by side. Then on the exit NOR was judged not to give PER enough room and PER was forced off the track."

Remember when GOAT Hamilton could win a race despite damage to his car because they had so much margin and the team would hold back his butler? Yeah.

I don't know that I appreciated Carlos' versatility before. We've saw him be outright quick during the last race at this track, and today he had a Perez-like tyre management strategy (going 47 laps on the Hard compound) followed by some raciness to get by Ricciardo. This, on top of the fact that he "caught on" to the Ferrari so quickly, has me admiring what a complete driver Carlos is.

No, not Redbull, it's Max the GOAT that's unstoppable.

Remember when Schumacher would hold the racing line while competitors tried to overtake him on the outside and he was the devil. Now that this is NOR doing it and/or the victim is a Ferrari driver Sky commentators believe this is just hard racing, LOL.

HAM said so himself referring to the challenge as being Max specifically and not RBR.

Nope! Lol you are about to get slammed! It's the car! The hybrid car is 90%. These cars drive themselves.

Well, I just saw the first "July 4th Parade". :p

That shift in tires really hosed that race.
The four cars that started on softs wound up holding up the parade.

I'm half convinced that the only reason Norris got a penalty was because Perez was screwed when he dropped behind the four car rolling road block.

And someone remind Ric that he doesn't drive for Red Bull, anymore.
Once Perez got by, Ric tried to push himself and the Ferraris ten sec behind Perez.
Only Sainz managed to get in range to benefit from the penalty, once he got around Ric.

Having the entire field nose-to-tail because of tires negates the DRS.
Everyone too close together to get much in the way of passes.
And having the entire field that close together wears their tires faster, letting the leaders get even further ahead.

With the softer tires, this was "a tale told by an idiot, full of noise and fury, signifying nothing". ;)
(Just the way the FIA seems to like it.)

Are today's stewards paid by the incident?
