Bump........ Never ever heard anything further........... Where is the book? It's now basically end of June......... They have my money since months......... Marcel Massini
Looks like shipments for the book are about to start...I have just received a (genuine for once) email from DHL and I don't think I have anything else on order at the moment... Paul
Hahahah, I was about to cut and paste your comment and post it word for word in the Miura Book thread about the Miura register.
DHL tells me I should receive mine early next week (thanks to Brexit I was also asked to pay import duties...)
I too got a message today from DHL and Porter Press. Let's see how much customs are gonna charge........and how much they will delay delivery...... Marcel Massini
While we wait for our volumes to arrive, here is an excerpt from the book: https://porterpress.co.uk/blogs/news/1962-le-mans-24-hours
When you early purchasers receive your books, would you mind letting us know if there’s any coverage of Sebring in 1963? Many thanks.
I had email from DHL confirming delivery tomorrow but I am (unfortunately?) away for the weekend so have rescheduled delivery for Monday...I'll report back unless any other UK buyers beat me to it. Paul
Just for fun now that the books are finally arriving should we add a register to this thread... Standard Edition: #110 Rosey Collector's Edition:
Apologies for a lack of introduction and this being my first post, I received mine today around 1130, very impressed with the quality and finish. £400 (with discount) worth? Maybe closer to £250 or £300 but if it encourages further books on our favourite subjects….. Sebring ‘63 has seven pages dedicated to it, half pictures, half text. For info I have No. 600/750
The information is incorrect. I did not say that I, Marcel Massini, have #125. I said Switzerland, not more. Marcel Massini
I have absolutely no idea what that means?? You mean there is now a copy owned by someone in Switzerland, but not you? Or you mean someone called "Switzerland" owns copy 125 ?
Corrected... Standard Edition: #110 Rosey #125 Someone in Switzerland (info from Marcel Massini) #150 GTO Joe #470 Thepinkumbrella #600 Hannibales Collector's Edition:
Marcel, are you considering, or have you ordered this book? And any thoughts on it? I decided not to buy it. Marshall
Ordered and paid many months ago, credit card charged many months ago, DHL/TNT/Fedex announced shipment to me about a week ago BUT it hasn't arrived yet. I have, however, seen the final book last week in Maranello and browsed thru copy #125 (which is owned by another Swiss now). Marcel Massini
Thanks Marcel. Hope yours arrives soon. Would really like to know your overall opinion of it once you've had a chance to look through it.
