I am not sure of the exact date, but my general sense is that my car sat in Newark for approximately six weeks. I was told that it was "on the water" mid/late April. I assume an arrival in Newark second or third week of May at the latest. The car was finally delivered to the dealer June 25. Dealer prep/inspections were not more than a day. I also had PPF and ceramic done, which took three days.
As promised, here are a few photos of my new F8 Tributo. I am happy to share detailed photos of any specific angle, etc. to those still in the beginning stages of picking various options. Thanks - my son actually pushed me on the interior red color and to live a bit more boldly for a change. I think it makes the car "pop" a bit.
Nice.. definitely bolder. Only thing I would change is, to change the yellow wheel caps to black. I just think the red calipers and yellow wheel caps clash. Did this for my spider, changed to the black enamel ones. Photos of mine are in Ferrari Spider Thread for comparison.
I went with the non Carbon ones, as I had no exterior Carbon, think they are around $350… Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the photo - love the car color! Also thanks for the suggestion. I guess just like owning a boat/airplane the accessory spending never ends! So many great add ons!
When did you place your order? I texted my sales rep today who advised me he's finding out about allocations for June / July this week. At present, from what I'm told, I'm #2 in line for production. I placed my order in late August of 2020.
Is your dealer giving you these updates themselves or are you calling yourself and asking? Is this something you're seeing on the app?
My car finally shoed up yesterday, was at the dock for about 2.5 weeks in NJ. I will post some pics once its delivered, here is a shot of the interior, and the dreamline on the steering wheel. Loving the Alcantara carpet and the silver stripe on the seat. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
