Love the P1 seats. The large bolsters on the Senna were excessively obtrusive. Sit in each prior to committing.

They do look great. Even though they weren’t the most comfortable I would have ordered them but my wife loved the P1 and was not comfortable in the Senna.

My wife doesnt want them. But you know what they say- better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Isnt resale like totally killed if you don't get Senna seats? I mean to the point that you have to pay someone to take the car off your hands? I mean- at least thats what Ive been told and thats what im gonna tell her. :)

Will not affect resale. Worse case scenario, you can always add them later. Dealer confirms more P1 spec’d than Senna. Since my wife often is my passenger, getting a seat in which she is uncomfortable, ain’t going to happen. She loves the P1 as she did the race seats in the F8 and in the Performante.

Resale: The 765 will occupy a spot in my garage until I occupy a hole in the ground.

It 100% will affect resale (wink wink). That is why I must get the Senna seats.

    (keep up)

I forgot, my dealer confirmed that without Senna seats, the 765 is not saleable at any price.

Personally, I find the Senna seats look out of place in anything other than a Senna. They’re very skeletal and suit the interior of the Senna which is a sea of exposed carbon fibre. I’m clearly in the minority with that very subjective opinion. Unfortunately I don’t find them very comfortable however I did notice that the latest seats have more padding that the ones in my car. Apparently it has something to do with US safety regulations. Perhaps they’d suit my shape better.

765 senna seats do indeed have more padding than the regualr senna seats. Once I get my spec done, I’ll post it. This car the way I’ve designed it would look out of place in anything other than senna seats. It’s what made me change.

Senna seats for the win. They are iconic. And, if I can fit comfortably, just about anyone can.

its not about the fit. They are incredibly comfortable. Its just getting in and out of them is a pain in the ass.

Yeah and I was going to completely skip it. Just go with the comfort seats and skip the senna seats. But good lord they look so good. They complete the car. I’m super excited and like I stated earlier- I’ll deal with the wife issue later. I guess I’ll just have to take her out in the Pista.

Actually I specced 18 ways in my GT3 precisely for this reason.

Seen many videos of her explaining cars. Most sales guys I’ve dealt with could learn a lot on how she approaches car sales with her knowledge

Anyone getting an AMG Black Series? I don’t see too many posts discussing that car.

Got the call and went down on 7/16/2020 of last year and placed an order. Here is my build sheet. They are confident they can get the build slot. We'll see. Ordered it in the color "AMG Magmabeam" which looks like a brighter Lava Orange on a 3 RS. I'm very disappointed in the weight which is 3,616 pounds which is only a 34 pound weight savings over a standard GTR which I had at one time. Last time I spoke to my SA was a couple of months ago and they assured me they would call when they know something. To be honest I've kind of lost interest. MB is still struggling to get the AMG ONE out which I believe is going on close to five years now. It's been so long that it actually looks dated to me. We'll see what happens. I have a strong relationship with my dealer as I've bought 7 AMG's over the last ten years. Just recently sold my .2 3RS after almost two years and 12k miles as it was time. Truth be told I was bored with this car. After five Porsches I'm pretty much done with the brand.
