Looks like Lewis is trying to make a fashion statement that’s all. He likes to be the center of attention. Hey everyone look at me. I could careless what he wears all I care about is how he acts while racing. The guy could walk around in a bubble for all I care. It’s what happens on the track that counts. Everybody calm down, soon Lewis will retire and every driver will be back to looking the same, like boring robots.
Schmacher dressed like a tit, too, Al right in your world again? Not everything is an attack on another. Poking fun more like. Image Unavailable, Please Login
F1 drivers and flamboyance (in various measures) is pretty much a thing. I’ll say again that I’m guessing most on here are not 20-somethings so the style isn’t meant for us. People of that ilk, I mean age group, find his style bold and interesting. Those MS photos let us know he had a bit of an exhibitionist side to him also...
As 31 Y/O and having seen Lewis' dresses and made fun of them in my 20s, I don't know anyone in that age that dresses like that or thinks it looks good, Just like Schumacher and his outfits (despite me being a massive fan of him), I poke fun. I don't dislike hamilton for the clothes he wears (I dont think anyone does),
Of course his way of dressing makes everyone laugh but it does not matter. this is not comparable to its status as a world-renowned sportsman and his lecturer posture. Totally comparable to the behaviour of two players of the French football team, Griezmann and Dembele.
They have indeed, but it is informal and not written anywhere; so it is the most difficult one: the one for the gentleman. As Oscar Wilde would have said: "True elegance never get noticed". Then, if you ask Italians, they speak about "sprezzatura"; very difficult to describe or define, but nevertheless instantly recognised. Rgds
It’s possible to be tastefully flamboyant, but it’s very difficult to carry it off. Hammy is wide of the mark on that score. As I’ve maintained for years, regardless of his talent and undeniable success he seems to be a guy who’s uncomfortable in his own skin, still searching for himself, the constantly changing appearance being just one manifestation of that.
Thats the most boring thing i've ever heard, no wonder why Hamilton is getting so much attention, he's the first champion to put some life into fashion. Why don't everybody sell their red Ferrari's and get grey Honda Accords. I hope Hamilton never tones it down for no one. And if it makes haters mad, do it even more.
