I have no hate for Spiders, but hardtops in general bring more value. You don't have to look far to see the comps. Not just in the F355 sphere, but in almost any sports/exotic car marque or segment.

At the risk of bringing Porsche into this thread for the 100th time, are Turbo S Cabs cheaper than Turbo S's?

Spiders would start commanding higher prices if owners would stop rushing to sell them all at the same time :). Supply on the market is outpacing demand at the given time. It gives the impression owners are rushing to get rid of them. That impression needs to change.

That's why I yanked mine off the market and I don't need to get rid of it.

Well this crazy weather is not helping the joy of a Spider. I owned one from 2003 to 2021. Some years it seemed we had fewer than 30 days of rain per year, and greatly enjoyed the experience.

One less than fond moment left a Spider owner with his seat in the most forward position, the top straight up in the air, a blown hydraulic pump fuse, and broken seat pot.

The entire restaurant came out to spectate. Ferrari’s cause a lot of emotion in people. Good and bad. Haters.

Like I said, only in America.

Some people butter their toast on the dark side. Others on the light side. But no matter which side is buttered it's still toast. None of this matters.

People who spend more than 60k on cars can afford a toaster that works.

Could I have screwed up any more? I didn't pay enough. It wasn't red. It's a spider. And I've put 11k mile son it. My car is totally worthless. :D

I used to really care about values. Now, I realize, that the enjoyment I experienced owning my 4 355s over the last 17 years outweighs any 30k profit I made over that time (of course, excluding service)

If you want to make money pick a stock and cross your fingers.

Life is short. Enjoy the moment. Owning a 355 and driving it should be a part of that.

Stradale asks top dollar for all of their cars but they're always 100% sorted. They get what they're asking or close to it all the time. Global buyers...the blue Berlinetta of theirs I was considering sold and was air freighted out to Asia. At a price point that was higher than the highest BaT sales for Berlinettas here recently.

I'm pretty sure it was right around 100k EUR

Considering it had nearly 100k km on it, that's a strong number. It showed much nicer than most cars on the market with 1/3rd the miles though.
