    Hi everyone,

I need to locate the solenoid valve that control the vacuum to the exhaust valves. I imagine it’s located in the engine bay but can’t figure out where they are. Does anyone know or have photo?

    Thank you!

So should we assume that your question pertains to an F12?

Sorry I failed to note the header. Drop the splitter. The valves are readily apparent.

Thank you. Is the solenoid in the engine bay? Looking to block from there rather than dropping the splitter if possible.

Nope, drop the splitter. Very easy to do.

Like ViperJoe says you need to drop the rear diffuser and you’ll easily see the exhaust valves. Be careful as the DRS is part of the diffuser and there is a electrical plug to undo.

Yes diffuser is correct. I mistakenly referred to it as a splitter. There are also electrical connections for the fog lamp and rear camera. Extremely easy job.

Thanks alot for this. I spend a lot of time but could not locate it via the engine bay (488 spider). What I am trying to do is basically install a remote valve kit that will bypass the factory one. I know most just unplug the hose from the mufflers which is the same thing on Porsche GT3's but I located the valve solenoid and did the same thing.

Do you know if the 2 solenoids can be accessed without removing the under panel?
