It looks well priced but I wasn’t a fan seeing it when Jason button drove it. Great car for sure but not for me …yet at least

It's a very tempting package for sure. Congrats. I'm sure it'll be hoot to drive.

Dealer said I will be able to drive it long before my allocation comes up. Guess one is working its way around US now. So we shall see.

Did your dealer give you any sense of when that allocation would come up? Probably too soon to know yet but curious. Also has your 296 appeared in your my Ferrari app as a waitlisted vehicle?

I believe the Assetto Fiorano car that was in Luxemburg is now at HROwen on Berkeley Square and presumably is the car thats due at Egham in a few days

Ground clearance looks adequate. Any idea if the front lift was activated? Trying to determine if I should spec the lift on my order. thanks

If this car is the one that's been touring Europe and was in Paris a few days ago, it apparently does not have a lift:

I was told the Assetto package will not have a front end lift. Like the SF90 the AF the racing shocks can not use the lift

It is indeed, sorry for the bad quality picture. However it is still possible to decypher it and apart from the racing seat lift there is no mention of a lifter.

So did I - but I saw the car at Goodwood and it’s quite disappointing in the flesh. Doesn’t have the presence that the Evija has - that is a beautiful car. The Emira looks great in pics.

Bummer that it looks banging on pictures then... On a separate note, anyone here has seen the 296 GTB in flesh yet? If so, thoughts?

I absolutely love the new 296! Its smaller, its 'light', its design is very nice and a classic swooping design. Prefer v6 over V8 (and even V12)...a hot 120 degree V6 with turbos inside the V is a dream-engine layout. Engine can be very low and short, sound can be beautiful, power with the turbos can be without lag and with a lot at boost at preferred rpm's.

My favourite 'driver cars' at the moment:
    1. Donkervoort D8 GTO JD70
    2. Porsche 991.2 GT3 Manual
    3. Lotus Exige V6 Manual

All 3 are manual. 1 is 5 cilinder, 2 are 6 cilinder. They offer so much joy. Donkervoort and Lotus I drive on track and are absolutely brilliant. I own 2 recent Ferrari V12's...but only use them for long stints and comfort (drive them to the tracks and car dealers).

I will trade one of the V12's for a new 296 GTS...and I believe it will be a step forward and a car I will like to use every day. Thanks to Ferrari for creating this...only manual would be desired, but those days are gone for Ferrari.

Well, TBF, nothing has the presence of the Evija.
