So everyone is familiar with the senna seats. If I was to already have specced my 765 Spider, hypothetically speaking ofcourse, Would colored carbon on the interior be too much? Meaning make the senna seats a colored carbon? Thoughts??

My Black Series is built but not expected to be delivered until Q3. They’re all being held up for some reason…..

IMO - Yes. But then again I like a simple interior and "if" i was speccing one I would P1 seats as super comfortable

I found out what held my Porsche up for two months was a chip for the passenger side seat controls. Probably something as simple as that.

Depends on the color and the rest of the interior. I would also try and get a sample of whatever you select. A friend of mine went with green carbon on the interior of his GTS and it didnt match anything and looks off.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. The same is happening to my M5 CS that’s been stuck at the port for a while.

Socal is a crafty fellow. He is very definite in his aesthetic preferences all the while pretending he is seeking input from others. He is a man of action with a specific concept of how his car will be spec'd and his tastes assure a unique build which has the result of indiviualizing the design of his car. Kudos are in order for his vision and originality.

I appreciate that and do have in my mind my spec that I want to do but I’m genuinely curious about colored carbon on the interior.

I’m personally not a fan of coloured carbon unless it’s tinting of a fully exposed carbon body. Pagani executes this well.

My opinion is that colored CF is very dependant on how you spec the rest of the interior especially with regard to color. When it comes to CF, my preference is gloss black.

appreciate the input gents. The opportunity exists with the colored carbon to blow the spec out of the water or have a car that looks like it was designed by Justin Bieber. Definitely a risk.

I doubt you will ever part with this car, so you need to be comfortable owning it for a long time.

What color carbon are you thinking? I'm guessing blue.

Just curious, is it possible to get driver senna seat and comfort seat for passenger? (of course, money makes ALL things possible :p )

Funny- I actually asked about this and everyone looked at me like I was an idiot. Lol. I do know of someone that did this after the fact- put a senna seat as a drivers seat and left comfort seat for the passenger.

If it makes the car easier to 'sell' to the wife, why not? ;) :D

    Correct.

My first 765 I had spec'd with Senna seats, harness, etc. I sold the car but I regreted it and told my dealer that if another one came up then to let me know.

One customer didn't get financing approved and it was offered to me. However, it had the normal comfort seats. I told my dealer that this was sort of a deal breaker for me.

They were able to get a senna seat that they already had and installed it for me on the drivers side and let me keep the comfort seat. (they threw in the senna seat for free)

    Best of both worlds.

i posted the picture somewhere on Mclarenlife when I took delivery of the car.

Cool! I’m doing senna seats in my spider as well. Massive pain in the arse to get in and out but it is what it is.

The good part is that once you are ensconced in the seat driving the 765, you won't wish to get out.
