F8 or STO?

My Lamborghini dealer is a Squadra Corse participant and earned extra allocations as a result. Nonetheless, they have had to deliver bad news to many good customers. The car is oversold. Perhaps, as time moves on, more slots will open up, but for now, the market demand is pretty high.

 

Agree its strong now and stronger than before covid. They probably told Dusty they wont have any stock for him to shift this time.
Btw ask him what the number his 765 was. I know someone on the inside who can probably check it out if it ever went to him. He’s been playing you guys for sure. Too many stories which don’t add up. He is not a legit enthusiast in any way shape or form.

 

We bought 4 Super Trofeo EVO2s so we all got STOs. Also first on the list for the Urus Performante or whatever they call it. Power of numbers.

 

This whole semiconductor and parts shortage is happening at the most inopportune time for enthusiasts who are trying to secure allocations before the hybrid era sets in. These companies have hard dates by when assembly lines need to be decommissioned so time is quickly running out.

I kind of disagree. I think he owned the 765LT, along with all the other aforementioned cars. I’m just puzzled as to why he owned them for such a short period of time. I had my Performante for 3.5 years, and despite having an STO on the horizon, rarely does a day go by that I don’t regret parting with the Perf. I get really attached to my cars.

 

When will you receive the EVO2’s? I can’t wait to hear the full comparison breakdown between the 488 Evo and the Super Trofeo. I’m especially interested in the running cost difference. Maybe a faulty speculation on my part, but I presume that the Lamborghini costs a bit less to run?

 

STO because it is a more dramatic/race version than the F8. Better comparison is the Pista to the STO. Pista wins. 765? No comment, wrong forum.

Full disclosure: I have or had or will be getting all of them.

 

Lamborghini also did a horrible job with the configurator and not being able to deliver on cars as spec’d, having to retract options, etc.

Was hit or miss (and another hot mess). I initially asked at your dealer and was told no dice. Made a few calls just for kicks and managed a slot - c’mon down and leave a deposit. No prior purchase experience.

Winkelmann has confirmed the Huracan replacement arrives in 2024 but won't say if the replacement will get a V10. My guess is we'll see a V8TT/hybrid pushing over 700HP.

Lol, finally someone addressing the title of this thread! Agreed the STO will be far more drama (looks, sound, feel) than the F8. What appealed to me about the F8 was the refinement over the 458. Not all cars have to be all drama all the time.

P.S. I wouldn’t turn down a Pista…..

No one really cares about his Perf - that story is now old news although im sure theres something smelly there too if you do enough digging.

Just think. A guy that buys and sells cars within a matter of days and, who always just posts a one line review of nonsense consisting a few words at most sounds like a con artist to me. No legit enthusiast would do that.

If you want to believe his nonsense then fine by me, but im not buying it for a second.

I am sure Dustman/Dusty is reading these concerns with his credibility. It would seem he would have backed his assertions with more probative documentation. I never understood why he disliked the Pista so much. After all it was in his hands for such a short period of time.. As you or someone mentioned the potential of the car is not exploited until she has at least 1,500 Kms.

 

They better produce 900+hp with the 296 pumping 830 combined hp. The math is pretty easy: V8TT with 725hp and a couple electric motors with 175hp.
