    I think the FS suggestion to reverse the side mirror color area / black area is an excellent idea. Other changes not so much.

    Bembly’s solution was the best so far. The quad lights from the F8 did look right at home on the 296.

    The common, and surprising issue, I see in both Frank & SketchMonkey's conversion of the tail light region is the lack of completeness in caring for the totality of the rear end. While you could just stick in something you like from another car like the rear tail lights, industrial designers, particularly ones who are reknown for their design, are all classically trained in design school to understand that the most difficult part of designing something is the harmony of all the elements of the design.

    Frank's re-design lacks thought and consideration -- I don't mind round tail lights, but he didn't complete the job. That said, he's now making change doing clickbait videos for YouTube, so I'm not sure I'd expect much more out of several hours (maybe less) of thought. I like Frank's work a lot, but his latest videos are starting to make me wonder how much design control he had in the first place.

    The 296 interior space behind the seats doesn't appear to remarkably smaller/different than the F8/488/458 to me?

    Probably because the engine was downsized by 25% or so, that allowed the cabin to have closer to the same amount of space versus the SF90 that stayed with the V8...

    Sounds right.

    The SF90 doing the rounds here had carbon fiber seats and the fire wall was also optioned with carbon. I strong suggest that people that spec this or with the 296 GTB to be careful when moving their seat . Both carbon fiber parts can touch and on this car both the parts had cracks.

    Oh wow. Yeah, the other one that makes me wonder why Ferrari offered the option is the carbon frunk tub. While it looks super cool, it's ultimately a fairly brittle polymer on the surface that shows scuffs, scratches, and surfaces cracks so easily.

    Much better! So we weren’t imagining the different roof shapes on the prototypes.

    You’d assume the visor type roof would be more amenable to a lift-off roof design but probably too long for a folding roof.

    Yeah yeah, I was referring to the aesthetic of the roof/windshield design. Batteries and electronics are useless junk that weigh cars down and make them disposable.
