Sorry for posting this. This was clearly off topic and derailing the thread.
(even though I was responding to another poster who started the talk about the GT3)

I would have copied that spec if I had seen that pic in time. It’s weirdly awesome.

Having owned 3 McLarens and ordered my 4th, I have had no issues at all with any of them. In fact I have had pretty much no issues from all four brands (Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari and McLaren) over a few decades of ownership.

I've made the points I wanted to .....

If that weren’t track car only, I would be camped outside my dealer begging for a slot…. That car hits all the right notes.

I am indeed. Regrettably, I did not have the balls to go for an unusual spec, so I went with Rosso Mars which is the exact same color that my Performante was. I ended up trading the Perf towards a Pista, figuring I didn’t need both the Perf and the STO. Fortunately, I love the Pista. I do miss the Perf tremendously, and because I drug my feat finishing the STO order, I might not get it this year….

Was at the dealer and I am debating a 718 Spyder or a GT3. Kinda like the Spyder more.

Thanks, I did see your Pista....wow on that spec, like an elegant streetfighter.....LOL

I hear Mars is a nice deep red metallic, but have not seen one in person. Can't fault going a little conservative.

Any yellow in the interior? BTW, congrats on the Countach to add to your 30th Diablo. Drove a Countach once, geez was that tight inside.

Thanks. Yes, yellow is the accent colour… in hindsight I should have limited the yellow to seat stitching/piping rather than going full Monty with seat centres and tunnel accents. Oh well…

The Countach is indeed a tight fit (it doesn’t help that I’m 6’3”), but I’ll make it work.

Hideous color and the Nardo calipers are unsightly. The entire car is a hot mess. Which part of off topic do you not understand.
