Just got her back from the detailer! So shiny! Now, it’s time to get her a little dirty and generate some brake dust! Image Unavailable, Please Login
very nice but those are the wheels from the Scud, not the 16M Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
WRONG. Based on what ? A16 M IS a Scuderia, a Scuderia 16M. Both the Scud coupe and the 16M came with the exact style wheels on my car, how can you tell from a pic ? The guy I bought them from stated they came off his 16M as he had bought forged custom wheels. Why would he lie ?, Scud or 16m I did not care what car they came off. What motivates people to quote incorrect crap they know nothing about......
Man...... Everyone is so aggressive and defensive any more. Maybe you're wrong, maybe he's wrong, but who cares? Perhaps just have a discussion? That's why we're all here, after all. Kevin
That's exactly why I don't like posting on message boards because it always happens that someone has to get aggressive and attack people. Civility has gone out the window when people get behind a keyboard. Some one makes a mistake and hold on. I know a lot of useless stuff and hear people make comments I know are false but you can tell the person doesn't know that it is incorrect. I sometimes ask them why do they believe that to see if maybe there was a misunderstanding and have a civil discussion. I like conversation, and great discussions, and people sometimes misspeak and instead of a gentleman asking a simple question back, its attack. Funny, no one has ever done that to me in person though. DeTomasoGTS74, I hope you do not back away from commenting on posts because of the inappropriate response. I think all of these cars are beautiful, that's why I own one now, but with different options being available from the factory and people modifying cars it sometimes gets difficult to determine if something was OEM or not. I don't know all the original options a car could possibly have and I am truly amazed (I sometimes hate how people over use this word, but I really am) at some of the breadth of knowledge some Fchatters have on this board and I would like to thank them personally for the education they have given me (even though they don't know they have). Most of the time though, I don't want to ask a question because of a response I may get.
Gorgeous assortment of Ferrari’s. Looks like you all had beautiful weather. It has rained by me every day for the last 7 weeks. I may have to order floaties for my car.
No need to be aggressive, and nobody is calling you or the guy you bought them from a liar. Here is my understanding. The Scud came out first in 08’ and had gunmetal five spoke sportlines as the stock wheels. One could option for the five spoke sportlines in gold (RCG1 $1,788) like my Scud was ordered with from new. The convertible version of the Scud (16M), came out a year later. Press release photos all show the 5 spoke non split that was only available on the 16M. This was an option above the five spoke splits and unique to only the 16M. The five spoke non-splits on the 16M look like the optional wheels on the 458, but had a unique bolt pattern making them unique to only the 16M. Thus I refer to the 5 spoke as the “16M wheels” given they were unique to only the 16M. Either way it is a good looking 360 and the wheels compliment it.
