If it wasn’t a maroon carbon- that had such potential to look amazing!!

Quite possibly but the color combo is very tricky to pull off successfully.

My reference was to current Lamborghini designs such as the STO and anything designed after Borkert became the lead...

Borkert was involved in Huracan and Aventador "refreshes"

The Murcielago was not designed by an Italian (Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke)

Designs prior to VW/Audi ownership of Lamborghini involved "zero" German designers.

I notice that "in Italy" is not equivalent to "by Italian(s)"

Perini gave us the SV. Borkert gave us the Sian. The Italian designer wins.

I prefer the aggressive lines of the SV but I don't think we'll see a design like that again from Lamborghini.

To continue to belabor your picayune argument, since Frank Stepheson designed the F430, Ferrari design is not Italian and Chris Bangle designed the Z4,1,3,5,6 and 7 series as well as the X3,5 and 6 means that BMW design is not German.

My reply was not about whether I can bear what you say, or if you're new or old. I was simply pointing out glaring deficiencies where you hadn't even driven the cars you were summarizing yet somehow managed to form a conclusion based upon a spec sheet. Adding a value of 2 cents to it also wasn't helpful (as an FYI).

Then the 5 year ownership of a 650 with poor build quality and major reliability issues also puzzles me big time. Although I note you used that as a reason for not entertaining the 765 when clearly the 650 is a much earlier and far less competent car going by all independent accounts to date.

I must also question why would anyone own a car (650) for 5 years that was supposedly of such poor build quality, along with breaking down all the time? It just doesn't make any logical sense to me at all why anyone would do that to themselves. If it was so bad why didn't you sell it?

Then your.2 gt3rs account is also sketchy. Fwiw I happen to own of those as well and it's certainly not down on power anywhere, so I'm really not sure what you mean by?

Feel free to explain. I'm genuinely intrigued.

PS. I'm absolutely all for freedom of speech and the inclusion of new and old members joining in on the conversation, but please understand your post made very little sense, therefore, I had to wonder what was the objective of your post? You say to find out about the STO?.., but then in the next breath stated STO was your best option anyway ? So what what were you hoping to find out here exactly? No one here has driven it yet, and everyone has had the same chance to see it? ??

While everyone is free to express opinions, what purpose is served to offer a " review" of a car that the poster has never driven. Those evaluations are not only bereft of any value, they are often couched in verbiage that gives the impression of having driving experience.

That awful mat green STO pic put up by boomhouser is the worst color STO I've ever seen to date and truly makes the STO look it's absolute worst. A true shocker indeed, which can certainly draw negative remarks such as what you are stating - a fair comment buddy imo! Thankfully boomhouser likes it.:D Now let's see him put his money where his mouth is and buy it.;)

I agree. The entire design of the STO is undermined by that pea soup color. Subjective comment of course. But I am still searching for that big, giant nose.

Agree there is something interesting about the brown metallic color and, the overall understated look it gives off, although is not my taste personally.

That picture was heavily filtered. I think this is the same car, but unfiltered. Much different look, but definitely not for everyone.

That brown is mesmerizing. I would never have the balls to pull off a spec like that, but I can certainly marvel at it. Here’s a quick video in better lighting.

Does look good. I would not have the guts to buy it. Don't know how it would wear over time.
