it might be a factor in why people buy but doesn't change the fact that the majority of people absolutely adore the looks of the car

I don’t think so. Mister Massini already stated few months ago that this mule was a mule for the Laferrari replacement.
I'm really scared of the "use" of this Valkyrie.... sorry but as amazing as the car seems to be, it's not really going to be usable on the road. This is why the Valkyrie AMR Pro makes more sense to me.... A true "No Rules" Machine with an incredible V12 sound.

or perhaps the new Ferrari 'flagship' model... This is just a driver putting on mileage, it is not one of the engineer test drivers that get involved closer to production ready where the package is fine tuned.
For me it doesn't make much sense if it's the new Ferrari hypercar, because the new hypercar is supposed to "represent" the future technology of the next Ferrari. Does that mean that the future of Ferrari is not Hybrid? I doubt it. I think it's the next Icona that Mr Marcel Massini mentioned.
Imagine a LaF chassis with a light twin turbo V8 with 800hp, no batteries, stripped out interior, carbon wheels…Wouldn’t that be something? If I were Ferrari, that would be my F40 Mk2…Light, brutal and with the right body beautiful too… One can only wish… PS. I would also love a manual gearbox, but it will never happen!
