    That doesn't make any sense. ''Their corner''. It was only ''Lewis''' corner because he lifted/braked too late for the situation. That doesn't make it "His corner". Applying that logic might as well T bone someone every time on their front wheel and claim you where ahead, lol.



    Max gave him space and even had to correct to give Lewis MORE space. Lewis was penalized but received a very light penalty that sets the precedent for the rest of the season. Lewis 8 points on his SL Max 0. Max can theoretically punt out Lewis 6 times in a row and receive only a 10 second penalty before bans start happening. Lewis only has 2 more in his pocket.

    This is a Ferrari site, anything that degrades Ferrari F1 championship stats gets lambasted here--although for the life of me, I can't see why they come down for Max and against Lewis.............................

    HAM was always going to make the corner (as indeed he did, even when his steering was straightened by VER steering into him). VER should have backed off when he realised he'd lost the inside, just as HAM did the previous day at the same corner. Had he done that, he'd probably still have at least a 25 point championship lead, and quite possibly more.

    it’s possible Lewis lifted a little once he realized Max was about to chop across him kamikaze-style, which is something Max has done countless times during his career and in the 2021 season. To describe Max as aggressive would be a huge understatement. In reality, he’s wildly aggressive, in the vein of a Dale Earnhardt, Sr. (i.e. “The Intimidator”). Every driver on the current F1 grid knows this, and act accordingly by mostly capitulating and backing down as an exercise in self-preservation, in order to avoid a DNF or incurring significant damage. However, this past Sunday Lewis simply didn’t fearfully capitulate or back down.

    You do lift when you're entering the corner at a bad angle and have to take into account leaving room for the other guy next to you.

    Wait a minute. Do you actually think Lewis is innocent in this?
