Ooh cool, I’ll keep an eye out for the episode, it’s so well shot and he’s great on camera, I lived in Padstow for 4 years seasonally where he’s got a restaurant, it’s a fantastic unspoilt little fishing village full of very old pubs, the best pasties and beautiful beaches, very busy in summer mind you

Ah, I’m from the grim north, a small village on the outskirts of Manchester, whitefeild , it used to be a lovely country village, we used to enjoy pub hopping on the main road on Saturday nights, all walking distance to home and the local chip shop on the way but now they’ve all gone, I haven’t been back in years (23) I have friends in the southwest, Bath Bristol London and Cornwall I used to enjoy visiting and working down there, It was great fun, In the summer as a youth I went to a place called Grittleton house in Wiltshire while my folks spent time in Europe, lovely out that way, great memories indeed

All of the cars the article compares the Quattro to are actually massively better to drive, particularly the Integrale. Epic turbo lag makes the Audi tedious and IMO dangerous.

The Audi competition cars had elaborate anti-lag (injecting fuel into the exhaust ahead if the turbo) that could never be road legal.

 

One thing I don't understand about the English is how they can live in a family members home after death or as they call "living in a dead person's home"

I just find that sick, living in a home , that you knew the dead family person whom lived there !

 

Must be why they call them estates.

 

I can understand working properties but homes? living in a known dead persons home ....sick.
