I’m guessing last manual V12 produced by the factory and 486 RHD cars made….At 200 K + for a Toyota Landcruiser nothing makes sense….Ah and don’t get me started on Sydney Realestate because that really doesn’t make any sense whatsoever!….
Haven't they been up there for quite a while? Someone should do the homework to see what it would cost to bring one in from the UK Go on, Greg.
I know you're only saying that because you think it annoys me. It doesn't. It certainly does a disservice to the many aggrieved ex customers of his, however, some of whom you call your friends. The guy shouldn't be given any oxygen. He's made Ferrari ownership miserable for too many people.
18 months ago that would have gotten you into a low mile, minty 458. In fact it's probably not too far off the mark still. I do like the GT cars, but pushing $400k for a 550? C'mon. Yeah I guess the world has gone insane with some of its asset prices. I guess it's only 8 bitcoin after all.
Supply and demand I guess…Far more than 480 odd RHD 458s made so you are comparing Apples to oranges…I’d rather buy a 330 than buy a 458 but that’s just me….
Makes you wonder what the future holds for the classics vs moderns, and whether the moderns will ever catch up - 20, 30 years down the track. Maybe when we're long gone, people will lust after the current crop like we do with the classics.
This was on there a few weeks ago, now is back up again. Did the sale fall through? They are commanding a few $$$$. My question is it worth that much given the ks it’s done? Love the color though.
I wouldn't be too concerned personally. I'd be more interested in service history and any major issues that have been fixed. Better to have one with relatively light milage and impeccable service history than one that's sat for 20 years and never been driven/serviced. If it were 80 or 90km, then I'd take a more reserved approach. Beautiful car. Everyday usable without too much drama.
I think the moderns will but it’s all about numbers…The Stradale ,430 Scuderia , 355 challenge , F12 TDF , 599 GTO etc will all keep heading north IMO..The RHD modern production cars will as well if they were built in low numbers…
512TR for me, I don't care how many were made. Might even get one when I grow weary of the 355, but it'll be tough letting it go.
I recently watched an episode of Tyrells garage and I can’t imagine there’s much he doesn’t know about engine’s, be it Ferrari Lamborghini what have you, according to him all modern engines aren’t properly bedded in until around the 50,000 mile mark, given this information, I wonder if the reason so many low mileage cars have issues is because of so many cold starts on a relatively new motors that probably don’t even make it up to proper operating temperature, this is why IMO If they’re mechanically sound, “high” mileage cars (50,000-100,000 klm cars) are great buying [emoji4]( I’m biased-123,000 klm 360
90% of the issues I've had on my car since I've owned it have been electric in nature, other than consumable items like brake pads/clutch etc. Mechanics have been solid. Electric may certainly be the future for the masses though, no argument there.
