I’d be curious to hear how it compares with the new stuff aka 812gts

May I suggest adding wheel spacers to your car. I just installed them on mine and the stance looks so much better.

It was Pavesi. The quality was good and it was good looking. But Pavesi is history. I heard they only did 3.

Not needed in the front, but 25 mm spacers in the rear (Type 2 Hill Engineering) do improve the looks.

For me, the GTS party trick is how it turns into a properly thrilling sports car above eight tenths, engine noise, handling, steering, agility, feedback, absolutely outstanding.

Flip side, at normal road speeds it doesn't feel special. And the interior is less interesting than a Maranello. And it's wide.

but I have to say, the GTS is a pretty special car. I'd be lying if I said not. It might be the best V12 Ferrari I have driven.

    Congratulations Jag,

The picture of the car looks stunning, enjoy it with the roof down with the lovely weather we have been having in the UK recently

We need a shot of all your Ferraris together!

Congratulations..I absolutely adore the barchetta, even with her awkward roof on.

As a prospective future 812 GTS buyer, much of the review is concerning when go to jail velocity is more like six tenths where I would drive it. Both of my current cars (1999 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster and 2005 Ford GT) are very entertaining at regular highway speeds, as I assume a Barchetta would be.

That’s why I decided against it. Normal driving is what I do most of the time and my here old Testarossa gives me much more thrill than the GTS

I have to say the GTS is less lively and fun at normal road speeds than the SF. There is a lot of extra strengthening in the floor that damps the agility. In that sense, I was a bit disappointed. It’s not a SF with no roof.

I haven’t driven a Barchetta, they look wonderful and wonder how they compare to a 550 to drive.

I just I drove the Barchetta , my 812 SF coupe ( sans GPF) and my TDF back to back - out and out the TDF is the supreme , the 812 is simply awesome and 550 barchetta feels analogue and more fun because of it ….. I spoke to a renowned dealer /collector who says he believes that good RHD ( 42 of them) barchetta will be getting carrera GT money soon - or up to £750k within 3 years … i agree …..

They do look undervalued I agree…. I also predict speciale & tdf to be a lot higher in the next 3 years
