Speaking of Tricolore Pista’s…All the carbon is tinted green (interior and exterior).

I'm in the UK and there are currently both examples of these cars for sale at my Ferrari dealer. The 458SA is a 2015 car with only 3.7k miles and the stunning Atelier Pista Spider is 2021 with 500miles. The 458SA is listed at £175k more than the Pista. At those levels i'd always take the Pista and even at the same money i'd always choose the Pista but then i'm not into paying premiums for collectors cars.
Yes. S first and then added SA. Planned to sell the S but couldn’t do it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last year, after trading my Pista coupe back to dealer, I considered adding an SA to my collection - instead I found a killer spec Pista Spider. It was the right move. I believe the Pista represents the peak of the performance development of the 4xx/Fx platform, at least currently - and unless of course we see an F8 SE. I do agree the sound is better in the SA, but I believe the body design of the Pista is superior.
That’s a bit misleading. At auction recently a S and SA in exactly the same spec and colour went through. The S reached about £260k with 2500 miles and the SA reached around £510k with 160 miles. They have been over £100k more than that. There is only one PS on Pistonheads (popular UK site) priced at £500k with about 250 miles. Given I am comparing an auction price with a dealer price, probably about £20k to £50k between them at the moment?
On Pistonheads there are another four PS for sale in the UK with prices listed at between £385k and £375k. The one i was referring to in my previous post was the one for sale at Dick Lovett at £385k where there is also a SA for sale at £560k. It must be the rarity factor as it doesn't make sense to me as there is no way i see the SA worth £560k. I think the PS at £385k is a better purchase as they're also a very rare car in the UK.
Ah, apologies, missed those. PS seems to be a little over retail but not much more. SA was a few hundred thousand over from the beginning and has not changed too much, softened a little. I agree, PS better value. We have S and PS. Different cars but both have merits and the Pista feels more modern. If you paired one coupe and one spider you could make an argument for either way around although I guess I’m going to argue S and PS is best! I think the Speciale treatment suits the coupe best because it has the purity of that n/a engine, whereas the Pista engine is just great to use in all circumstances and is maybe a bit stiffer in spider form than the SA. On the other hand, hearing that n/a wail behind you with no roof to block it plus being a true LE model, who’s to argue that doesn’t just elevate the SA to rockstar status!
