To celebrate their 70th anniversary, Ferrari produced a series of 70 unique historic liveries, each of which is an homage to a significant car from their past. Each livery was typically applied to one California, one 488 GTB, one 488 Spider, one F12, and one Lusso, resulting in a total of about 350 70th Anniversary cars.

This is one such car, with a blue on red livery that recalls the 1954 Mondial with exceptional and illustrious history that included ownership by Porfirio Rubirosa and Johnny von Neumann, and was also driven by Phil Hill and extensively photographed with James Dean. Are the red seats shown covering the black leather or as built? How easily it would cost will it take to remove the white numbers on the doors restoring it stock appearance?

 

The red F40-style seats and exterior numbers are all stock as a part of the 70th-anniversary package. The numbers are painted on and the seats are not covered with anything. This is how the car came from the factory.
