F8 Tributo general information

Giallo Triplo Strato is gorgeous and will easily stand the test of time. Most custom colors are stunning, but come at a high price. As an example, Rosso Portofino on an F8 is a $32,000 option. If you love it and can afford it, get it ..... YOLO!

I was looking at a very nice Grigio Silverstone/Beige F8 at Algar today. I drove the F8 last year but today was the first time I really studied the car. The body lines, tail panel and ducted hood are a home run. Car looks great in person

The triple layer paints… my friend, they definitely glow. But yes, 30k plus. A total custom, named color option though? I guess double that? I’m sure someone here knows for sure. Value is all in the eye of the person making the purchase - do what you love and feel right about!

That car is gorgeous - I drove it two weeks ago. . It’s a demo so it won’t be available for purchase for some time. I expect to have my F8 for Christmas and know full well how fortunate I am.

I ordered the Giallo Triplo Strato on my incoming F8 Spider. Was originally told 36k usd not including taxes. But prices of these out of range items are not fully known until the car and docs hit customs in NJ. My car has a total of 11 out of range special requests and due to this fact, I actually have no idea what the cost will be lol. My gut tells me I’m gonna have to cut a check for 500k… oh well, YOLO!

 

So what is the name of this color? Rosso Portofino by any chance?

 

Ah sorry! It’s Rosso Fuoco. The burnt orange undertone is real, and first impression for me was nothing short of “wow.” Really draws you in.

Edit: though for me, I want more red. Still trying to find Rosso TRS

 

I love the special colors and typically gravitate to the the grey spectrum(CdF is my favorite historical color) If you plan on keeping the F8 for a long time then spend the money and go for whatever special color you like and enjoy it.
If the car will be turned over or depreciation is a n issue then don’t do it because it won’t be recouped in the resale.

triple or quad colors are the way to go, worth the money, the car has such amazing lines, the out of range colors show the car off best, DO IT!

 

Thx Capo! I did an also out of range yellow and black leather mixed sprinkled in a touch of tricolore on the seats, the steering wheel, and the drive mode buttons. Lastly, it's finished off with white cavallino, white stitch, and also white seat edge piping inserts. There are a couple of other details on the interior, but I don't have an actual render because it wasn't avail in the system.

That there is THE color!! Exterior wise, mine will be similar except I have diamond cut wheels, yellow brake calipers, and tie lugs.

 

That’s the first time I’ve ever heard that. News to me. Maybe they’ve introduced another shade. Ask dealer.

There are quite a few yellows out there in Ferrari’s back catalog. But, if I’m not mistaken, the darker one you are referring to is the brand new Giallo Monte Carlo which launched with the 812 Competizione Aperta. It looks to be a wonderful color in vids and photos. But very few have seen it in the flesh. A tad more gold then yellow IMO.
If true yellow is what you are looking for, then the Giallo Triplo Strato is it! But that gold sure is temping as well. Can’t go wrong with either.

 

I referenced the wrong car in my reply above. Giallo Monte Carlo was introduced with the SF90 Spider.

 

The original F8 spider press car was yellow with blue and quite striking, I noticed a similar spec posted here recently.

 

I've seen Dk Brown & Dk Blue with the Tri-Coat Yellow.
