I was honoured to have been invited to his 'cave' by my mate Kent,who was in the same game as JS,whereupon any enthusiast of motor,air,art,furniture and a bunch of other stuff would have all their senses attacked,
I had taken a bunch of oldskool pics but I may have lost 'em.
It's not often you have a full size replica of the Bleriot the flew the channel hang over you as you amble through the collection...

I never met him ,another generation, but i do remember his art gallery in the Southern Cross complex ,my father knew him as both were car dealers in the 50s.

I don't remember any particular car but I did get to meet a couple of other owners an RLss & a RL.

 

I think he had a couple of pre-war Rolls-Royces?

 

Quite likely,this was the 'cave' and not,obviously,large enough for all his gear.

 

i think there was some drama re one of his car , a Bug? I'll ask around .

 

I saw that car 40 years ago in Rosco's garage near Ipswich
He restored it and Kenny may have helped with some of it
