congrats to Ocon for his first win. Flawless drive from him.

Vettel so, so unlucky not to win it after the team butchered his stop. He was MEGA fast today. What a story that would've been.

Sad that Sainz couldn't manage the podium...I think he had no more tyres whatsoever. 6 seconds in 2 laps.

Well done on Max getting at least 1 point driving his ductaped car. No floor, no barge board. Twice taken out by both Mercs in consecutive races. At least no Hamilton win which is just about the only positive to take from this. Lets hope for a BIG upgrade for the next race as they clearly need it.

Interesting that After 2nd Austria Wolff said that a DNF from Max would throw the championship wide open. His Kamikaze pilots did their best to make it 2 out of 2!

5 place grid penalty is a shocking low penalty for what effectively took 3 others out including both their rivals, especially when you consider Giovinazzi receiving a 10 second stop and go (no not 10 sec penalty) for an unsafe release...yes it ended mazepins race, but that's clearly a team fault not a driver!

Bottas should get a 10 place at the minimum. At worst he will start 7th imho

 

Oh, what a race. I feel gutted for Max and his WDC. OTOH the race was entertaining with "reversed grid" Hamilton and Vettel duking it out with Ocon.

Highlight for me was the one car at the restart. A historic moment for F1, has never happened. Reminded me of the shameful US GP with the Michelin FIAsko but this was even more bizarre with just one car.

And now we have to wait for Spa.

Yea, absolute joke with Bottas' penalty. What if someone like perez needs a new engine, then he'll get bigger grid drop than this excuse of a driver who caused all this bs in the first place
