It is designed to be attached to a wall either by framing it and/or push pins, etc. I suppose you could get it altered to be used on a flag pole, but out of the box, it is for 'wall use'.

 

I'd be remiss if I didn't add there are still plenty available for sale.

It is only printed on one side of the flag.
