Was that government safety approved scaffolding?!?! Just kidding, It looks awesome. I showed my wife your garage and told her this is what I am building next to the house and looking at the size you built, it will fit perfectly. Thank you for the inspiration and congratulations!!

I love MX-5 cup racing. I saw one of the cars up close (I think one of the past champions car) at Sebring this year where they were promoting the cup. I have been watching (when it comes on) the MX-5 cup for the last few years and they were screaming at Sebring. Loudest cars on the track the whole week. Congrats.

Are the bars in that last pic some sort of ice/snow break? Or just something temporary. If you are building that all by yourself you are doing an AMAZING job. Nice to have stairs up to the scaffolding instead of climbing a ladder. We started doing that with ours at work and it's much nicer and safer.

Edit: actually I see the bars in both pics.

    Thank you very much,

Yes, the bars for the snow to not fall down outside the garagedoors and openings.

Correct, I'm my own contractor and doing it all myself. (My wife helps out from time to time with painting. My first bigger project - before I've only done minor storage /overnight guesthouses that you get thru in a couple of weeks. This is like building a full size house. (Our house is 135 kvm and this garage is 152kvm so its bigger than the house we live in:)

Calculated I'm also saving 60-65% if the total cost as this would be all labor. otherwise I would not have the possibility to financially start this project. Plus it's very fun to do it all the way from drawing to building of course:)

Got 4 windows mounted yesterday, wiring and ceiling in the carport are getting done today.

Last pic on the drawing I made before started the project.
