Found this while cleaning out an old garage, anyone able to give me some info?

The numbers on the bottom ending with a star are identical to the vintage Ferrari stamped
numbers found on engines and other parts. The back is stamped with 984.

Maybe something a employee made at the factory or......????? The strange form has me
    puzzled.

    Any help/info would be great.

Just a guess, but maybe a fancy paperweight that was made for a dealership.

Looks like the blade from a gas turbine. No idea about the numbers as I cannot make them out clearly enough with the overstamping but they are probably the part number that should identify what engine it is from.

Always had to laugh at the idea of a paperweight.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld line... "Where are people working where there are sheets of paper just flying all over the place??!!" :)
