I must admit I do like well put together Reps and would have in a hearbeat a correct C-Type or 250 SWB or a 250 GTO as a rally car .
yes, its an all round fine car with performance to match . I can't wait to get on the highway to Coober Pedy in it as soon as lockdown is over and the S.A border is open .,perhaps I should have bought a RS4 Audi with the same motor at cost from a dealer friend but it is what it is ...deal with it !
by 2022 I will have moved on to another everyday car . Ay 60 years I said every couple of years now a new everyday Don't GAF car to drive everyday .
Much more apt. Only owned by pretenders and fakes. You know the people I mean? Drop the keys on the bar and say "I've got a Porsche" to impress the chicks....then when they go outside to see it "oh. One of those". See ya! Only the first of many disappointments they'd get.
