I won't be making it. The car is at Midnight Customz getting cosmetic touchups and the front bumper realigned thanks to an inattentive minivan driver. [emoji21]

I’m hiding out up in VA mountains for the summer. Taking some epic rides with the 458 along the Appalachians and into WV and NC. Will see you soon at C&C and hopefully we’ll see our STO deliveries soon.

Are there any cars and coffee near sarasota? IM moving into the area and would really be interested. A lot of car events here in California.

 

This Sat. at Armature Works in Tampa. I think they start VERY EARLY though, maybe 7 am or so. It is a DuPont Registry event.

For the "Near Sarasota" question:

There's a bunch and they cater to different demographics/audiences. The following are ones I'm familiar with, but there are more. Since most of the rain(s) usually don't come until after 3, many of these can be attended year-round for those that don't like to drive their fancy stuff in the rain (or in the case of my old '49, it's not exactly what one would call leak-proof...)...

This one is new to UTC (University Park/Lakewood Ranch) on second Saturdays. Used to be at Porsche on 41, was very large last month around 500 cars)

This Months cars and coffee will be Sunday, August 29. Can you believe it was just eight years ago when I decided to start the cars and coffee in Orlando. Now there’s two or three every weekend but the original is still going on thanks to all of you. I’m asking for all the members here to make it a point to join us for this month’s anniversary. If you are only going to make one exotic cars and coffee make this the one. I hope to see you there. Spiro

 

If you’re in Orlando, go see Custom Clay. He’s transformed my 94 Diablo, my 360 and now working on my 98 Diablo Roadster. Some paint work, some clear paint, some color rejuvenation and scratch/swirl removal and some misaligned body parts.

In fact, my 98 is sitting at his shop now to peel back some years.
