Compared to the sf90 and f8…how would you rate on from and beauty. I have seen both of those numerous times in person so curious how they rank in a beauty contest

I'm thrilled the Ferrari 296 is something I'm going to be seeing in current automobile publications (and who knows, maybe my garage) for the next several years! She looks fabulous and represents a nice, new direction in styling!

Looks great in person. So much better than the CGI of the launch. A world of difference.

Of course, the expression of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder holds true" applies. In my experience and enjoyment since I have both the SF90 and F8 Spider, the 296 is different. In person, I didn't feel like it was a "baby SF90." It has some styling cues in the front. But not much. To me the SF90 is a technological tour de force. It almost proves to you the design is great based on its sheer performance. At least from the performance I have experienced driving it. I delineate the difference between performance experience and driving experience. To me, it's similar to the reaction I had with my 812. Not timeless in design. But a noteworthy breakthrough in technology.

The F8 Spider is super clean compared to the SF90. I think its a beautiful car. I have a long history with mid-engine cars with Ferrari. For me, the 355, 458, Pista, and the F8 are notable. But the Pista and F8 started to get a bit too aero in their design. If you don't like aero, probably not the cars for you. The 355 and 458 are the cleanest of these 4 to me. The simplest design while also demonstrating great performance for their era.

I think the 296 is in this vein of design. If you love 355 and 458, then you will probably like the 296 in person more than the F8.

I love to drive. Every day away in free areas. So for me, yes, absolutely of course the design matters. But the driving experience is the reason to own the car. My opinion. And then I don't see the design. Only when I get in and out.

My issue is I love all of them. lol.

Ok, no worries. Ferrarichat reduces the image size and thus quality. I use Flickr then link to it to maintain full resolution.

Haven’t seen it in flesh but the lines and flow of the 296 is gorgeous.

There's something about the lighting and/or camera quality...This video has given me the best appreciation so far on the lines and curves of the 296, not to mention the spectacular red paint. I'm really starting to love the design - it has echoes of the 330, Ford GT and Muira and Dino. I think it's going to age well compared to the clunky overstyled F1 inspired designs of many Ferrari models of the past couple of decades.

Although not a fan of these virtual things, i think this one is pretty good (since we don't have any real).
